Down by the Blue River

By August 8, 2019 August 30th, 2019 Campsites

Right outside of Silverthorne on the shoulder of CO 9, we stayed at a river access area called Columbine.  The river is runnable only for a few weeks a year, as its waters are used to fill Blue Reservoir just down the way.  We passed on the opportunity until we develop some skills.

Here’s a shot of the 7 o’clock sun through the trees, down by the Blue.

Gathering all the good wishes we can manage.

A sunset shot on the little Blue River.

The Rig, ready to roll.

Yay! So happy to read about your adventures and travel vicariously through you! Pictures are amazing, cannot wait to see where you go next!
    Miss you already!
