Down by the Blue River

By August 8, 2019 August 30th, 2019 Campsites

Right outside of Silverthorne on the shoulder of CO 9, we stayed at a river access area called Columbine.  The river is runnable only for a few weeks a year, as its waters are used to fill Blue Reservoir just down the way.  We passed on the opportunity until we develop some skills.

Here’s a shot of the 7 o’clock sun through the trees, down by the Blue.

Gathering all the good wishes we can manage.

A sunset shot on the little Blue River.

The Rig, ready to roll.
