The Great Circle started with a final dance across Texas, which after 5 hours driving put us in Abilene State Park.

Wind bent weeds on the edge of the lake. We took a great opening bike ride over the dam and into some fun trails on the far side.
An 80 year old CCC-built pool on the site of an old Comanche camp was quite a relief from the scorching TX sun.
